Vivo & iQOO Phones Android 17 (OriginOS 7) Beta Update: Full Eligible Devices List

Vivo and iQOO company is planning to upgrade the Android 17 (OriginOS 7) of the flagship-level smartphones with the help of the Developer Preview Program. They have almost wrapped up the Android 16 based on OriginOS 6, and started working on the upcoming software update. There are rumours that the software update will be available on a few smartphones in June 2026. They have started testing the upcoming OriginOS 7 (in China) and Funtouch OS 17 (globally).

Vivo and iQOO have already started upgrading software to Beta 2 in Vivo X300 Pro and iQOO 15. This upgrade of software is going to be available for the following devices. Let’s see what the devices are.

Android 17 (OriginOS 7) Expected Key Features

Android 17, based on OriginOS 7, might have lock screen widgets, which help to restore native support for widgets on the lock screen. It also has separate toggles that dedicate quick settings toggles for Wi-Fi and Mobile Data. It is also followed by performance and privacy, where we can get faster memory cleanup and a new “lock-free communication method between apps and the OS to reduce dropped frames, and privacy has “Intrusion Logging” to track suspicious app behavior.
